Today was forecast to be the last of the current NW'ly groundswell. Kanaha
looked flat on the webcam so sailed Kuau in the hope of finding a
reasonable sized wave. And yes they were there. Scratched record...5.2
perfect again....swell boom to half-mast...again. The waves were bigger and
more powerful than Kanaha yesterday but not as clean, allowing only 2 or 3
turns before closing out. So not as good a session but still plenty of
enjoyable moments. Again it took me several attempts to find the keyhole to
return to the beach - very annoying.
Simon didn't fancy Kuau today so we sailed Sprecks later. As usual though
the waves there were crap so I didn't stay out for long.
